Here is an explanation of some updates in JNews version 12.0.4.
Add a “Filter Sticky Posts” option to filter the included sticky posts.
In the previous version, when you enabled the Show Sticky Post option on the JNews Elements, all of your Sticky Posts would be automatically added to the top of the post list on that element, even if you had already set filters such as Include Category or other filters.
In the latest version, we added the Filter Sticky Post option if you want the Sticky Posts that are added to also be filtered based on the other filter options you’ve set (such as Include Category, Tags, and so on). Also, if you enable this option and choose Latest Post, Oldest Post, or Alphabet in the Sort By setting, the sticky posts will also be sorted accordingly.
Remove Facebook Comments option from Single Post settings (no longer supported)
In this version, we removed the Facebook Comment option from Single Post Option > Comment Setting > Comment Type. We removed this option because Facebook has discontinued the Facebook Comment feature since February 10, 2025. You can read the detailed announcement in the following link.
If you previously used Facebook Comment on your website, we recommend changing the Comment Type option to WordPress Comment or Disqus Comment.
