For the bug, it seems your themes have some style that blocks the overflow element. In this case, please try to use this CSS code below and put to Additional CSS :
For the first question, Yes you can, but that may make some functionality broken because the URL is needed, like to mark the content, navigate and the other.
For the second question, Unfortunately, At the moment, we don’t support for AMP yet.
For the Recipe Maker plugin, In this case, you need to set the heading text on the recipe content to be different from the tag marker you set on the split post option. So, it will not split the recipe content. Please check on my screenshot.
