canonical problem with pageloop

    when using the page-loop option (in my case on landingpage-template), the canonical on every paginated page like 2, 3 and so on, are targeting to the first page, which is bad for SEO, because google won’t indexing these paginated pages, when they referring to page 1.

    As far as i know, there are 2 ways, how a paginated pages should set up:

    1. using canonicals for first page and further pages, where the canoncial is always self-referring

    PAGE1 URL:
    PAGE1 Canonical: <link rel=”canonical” href=”” />

    PAGE3 URL:
    PAGE3 Canonical: <link rel=”canonical” href=”” />

    or 2. using canonical only for the first page, rel=”next” and rel=”prev” for further pages

    PAGE1 URL:
    PAGE1 Canonical: <link rel=”canonical” href=”” />

    <LINK rel=”next” href=””>
    <LINK rel=”prev” href=””>
    <LINK rel=”canonical” href=””>

    Thank you for fixing this.
    Regards, Dennis
