Turn off volume on videos by default?

I am needing the volume for all videos to be “Off” by default. I am using both the “Landing Sider” video, which pulls from YouTube, as well as the .mp4 background video for a section.

I know enough Javascript to get this done in the console after the page loads, but I can’t find the right event to hook into in order to turn off the volume before it starts playing. I couldn’t seem to find any info on this issue anywhere in the forum. Can you help me?

    Thank You

hi bigboomdesign, please go to this file : jkreativ folder > public > js > internal > jquery.jlanding.js
on line 883, you will find videobackground function (javascript) for binding click to mute the video. you can use example who to mute video on this function outside click binding, but you use it once the video or window loaded for example.

if you need help again, don’t hesitate to contact us 🙂

    Thank you
