Top Menus need to be just containers

I’m using your theme for a presentation kiosk at a museum and people only use touch interactions to navigate the categories. I needed the Top menus to only open up the sub-menu and thought we had gotten it to work for the touch screens. However kids sometimes press often on the main menu dropdowns and then it will actually navigate to the main menu itself, which is just a container and has no content so they get a blank screen.

What can we do to make these always act as menus to only open the dropdown and never navigate no matter how many times people press?

    Hi Orvar,

Unfortunately there is no option on these theme to achieve that. You will need to make some customization on these theme and it seems you will need to hire someone that can help you because it’s not our scope area. If you interest you can use our custom service right here

    Thank you

Ok thank you, I got someone to help me with this and the top menu now only works to open the dropdown. The problem we are having now is that sometimes when you click on a sub-menu it doesn’t work or it takes a very long time to work. Is there something that can fix that?

    Best regards,

We are in the process of moving the hosting to an in-house source in hopes that the clicking the sub-menus is faster.
