    Hi again,
I have created a new Template using the “normal-Layout” template.
I am trying to force this template to have a fixed sidebar called “Side-news” that I have created in the widgets area.

In the “normal-layout” template I see this code:

Could you help me to make this Template have the fixed sidebar “Side-news”?

    Background:
I am using the plugin “Event Organiser”, which provides very basic template for the single event.
Their template doesnt seem to work nicely in this theme and anyway they advise to create a new template to match the theme.
I have copied the “normal-layout” template and renamed it “single-event” and saved it in the theme as described by the plugin author. I am now getting the event looking like the “normal-layout” but I want it with a sidebar.
As this is being used for a plugin, and not for creating a page in wordpress, I need to force the sidebar in the php somehow.

Hope you understand what I mean

Thanks again for the great support on this theme!

    Regards
    Brent
