Mobile Page Overflow

For some reason only on mobile the home page overflows. It is fixed if I use the following CSS:
However, setting overflow-x to hidden eliminates scroll events and breaks lazy loading images. Setting overflow hidden on body doesn’t work, only html. I’m not sure what is causing the html to be bigger than the width of the screen. Any help fixing this? The site is sciencetrends.comPost count: 1127Post count: 14tenaceDecember 7, 2018 at 12:32 am #40445
That worked perfectly on the homepage but I just realized it’s doing the same thing on the article pages as well. Example: https://sciencetrends.com/how-digital-rewards-in-video-games-affect-user-enjoyment-presence-and-effort/
Can you help fix the overflow on articles as well? Even though .row is set to margin: 0 it still overflows.
Thanks!Post count: 1127FerdyDecember 7, 2018 at 4:37 pm #40485
In this case, please try to set the google ads size to auto and check if the issue still in there.

All my ad blocks are responsive so the size is automatically adjusted to the screen size. I removed all ad blocks and disabled the advertising plugin and the mobile articles still overflow.Post count: 14tenaceDecember 8, 2018 at 12:21 am #40509
Nevermind, I figured it out. I was expanding the mobile images to be 100vw minimum in width to fill the screen but I hadn’t realized there was margin/padding on the right that was causing the spill over. Thanks for your help.Post count: 5TutoDSDecember 9, 2018 at 4:50 pm #40547

If I disable the options speed optimization (in theme options) is menu and search work.
One question, is possible update theme and save my custom settings?Post count: 1127FerdyDecember 11, 2018 at 12:11 pm #40708
Please try to disable JNews Speed plugin to check what caused the error.
Thank youPost count: 1127FerdyDecember 11, 2018 at 12:18 pm #40709
I am sorry before, which one custom setting did you mean? if the customizer setting, yes it will save your customizer setting but to avoid losing all the changes that you made please backup before updating the theme.
