    am i missing something?
seems that i have to add !important to each class attribute i want to override… is that true?
that seems kind of counterintuitive to using a child theme.

    please advise

    Hi powherhouse,

Actually you can add !important on your css code if you can’t override the default style. Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you

We aren’t fixing the underlying problem… It is bad to force css overrides by using !important …This isn’t solving the issue, it is just a workaround. The child theme should act as wordpress intends it to… :/
