    Hello!

I bought the Jnews-theme today and I am using the Food version. Now I have updated my page so that it looks a lot like the demo page for Food, but obviously I want to change it in various ways. The main thing you see on a visitor on the front page, are three posts. Is it possible to change the settings so that I show three pages here instead? If so, how?

    All the best,
    Johanna

    Hi Johanna,

Thanks for your detail information. On the JNews – Hero 8 Setting click Content Filter tab. Then find Include Post Type option and choose Page.

    Thank you

Thank you for the reply! I think I might need some help to find that section though…

I am looking around here: http://support.jegtheme.com/forums/search/?bbp_search=hero&themeid=23420&filter=1 but I can’t seem to find how I get to (or get access to) the area Visual composer integration or the Content Filter Tab in my admin panel. Maybe there is something that I have yet to install…? Would be very grateful for some more instructions 🙂 Thank you so much!

Thank you! Now I understand the problem: I don’t have the WPBakery Page Builder installed. Is that a necessity to be able to use the theme I just bought, and if so, how do I get my license?

    Hi Johanna,

You don’t need to buy that plugin. That plugin has been included in theme package. You can install and activate that plugin on the JNews > Install plugin. For more detail, please visit our documentation about it here http://support.jegtheme.com/documentation/install-plugin/

    Thank you

Hey there! Thank you for your patient help.

When I look at the plugins I do have, it seems as though both WPBakery Visual Composer and Vafpress Post Formats UI is both installed and Activated. But I don’t seem to be able to use them yet.

On the top of each page in my WP admin it says: “Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of WPBakery Page Builder.”

When I click on that link (with the words “Activate your copy”) I am directed to the page WPBakery Page Builder Settings (The tab Product license). There is the button “Activate WPBakery Page Builder” and when I click on that, I come to a page on http://support.wpbakery.com, which says:

    “NO LICENSES FOUND
It seems that you do not have any valid license for WPBakery Page Builder. What does it mean? It may be so that you got WPBakery Page Builder by purchasing WordPress theme which does not grant you with direct license for WPBakery Page Builder.” (The text continues, but this is the important part, I gather.) The only thing I can do from here is go to a payment site, to buy it.

Probably I am missing something very basic 🙂 Sorry, I am usually more effective as a WordPress-user than this. Could I give you my login details, so that you could login and fix the problem, or at least check what might be wrong? I’ll put them in my next post and hope for your help!

    Thank you, again.

    Thanks 😀

I think I do understand what I am supposed to do – but my admin panel doesn’t look like the ones on the pictures you are sending me.

This is what it looks like for me:
    http://media.xn--omrttigheter-icb.se/2017/11/Jnews.jpg

So as you see, I cannot do what says here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/097zodsso1r8n9l/Screenshot%202017-11-23%2008.55.11.png?dl=0
(I cannot choose Classic mode, and so on.)

    What could be missing?

    Hi Johanna,

Please try to check this video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ej8h34q25t4hu6/content-filter.mp4?dl=0 (you may need to download this video for better result). Hopefully, it can help. In this case you need to go edit a certain page. Please confirm.

    Thank you

Perfect, now it worked – thank you so much!

    Two last questions about that:

    1. How do I remove the dates on the pages (visible both on the front page and the very pages)?
2.Is it possible to have other page names visible on the front page than the actual names of the pages? (I want to use a certain word on several of the pages to be as findable on Google as possible, but visually it does appear a bit repetitive.) 🙂

    Hi Johanna,

    1. Please try to put this CSS code below into Customize > Additional Style :

    2. Unfortunately, at the moment we don’t have that kind of feature yet. It will need to do some changes to achieve that.

    Thank you
