I would like to bring it to your notice that none of the widgets gets refreshed in any places – Homepage, sidebars, single post options.

Please check the website https://blog.gaadikey.com – You may notice in the sidebar that the widgets are showing a week long old post as “trending” and “latest”… It means none of the JNews widgets are working as expected. Even in the related post – the post remains same always.

In the other hand, The default Widgets provided by WordPress works fine ( You may check the footer in https://blog.gaadikey.com)

This is something serious and I request you to help me out on priority…

Do you any specific type of configuration which has to be adjusted in Varnish or Nginx files? how can the default WordPress widgets like related posts works but not from JNews?

Do you set any type of cookie, some type of request header which should be allowed in varnish config?

    For example

    OR

    Ref: https://info.varnish-software.com/blog/varnish-wiki-highlights-wordpress

What exact URL should be allowed/not allowed for JNews widgets to work correctly? What cookies should be allowed/disallowed to make JNews widgets work correctly on wordpress?

    Hi chethanthimmappa,

Regarding this issue, can you please try to disable all plugins except required plugin that related to JNews just for a while and checks if the problem still occurs or not?

For varnish, i’m not really familiar with varnish config. You may need to contact your server administrator regarding this thing.

    Thank you

The support is very bad. You are not addressing my issue. None of the JNews widget work. Why don’t you make it similar to WordPress widget. JNews is not dependable – I am not happy.

I found out that by restarting the memcached service whenever i publish an article solves this issue. What is the best way to automate this?

    Hi chethanthimmappa,

I’m not quite sure about Memcache setup, it’s related with server setup issue. It would be better if you can ask your server administrator to check this thing. Let me know if you need something else in there.

    Thank you
