The Visual Composer is not working in my setup and is asking to buy the license. IS it supposed to be this way?
Thanks,Post count: 2749JegbagusApril 20, 2016 at 12:19 am #19748
you don’t need to buy visual composer license. we already buy developer license so you free to use it.
Thank youPost count: 49saupanApril 20, 2016 at 5:36 am #19761
I remember that it worked before I upgraded my wordpress. I also tried to enable it from Visual Composer Settings > Product License > Activate Visual Composer button, and it asked me to login to my envato account, post which it displayed following message:
NO LICENSES FOUND
It seems that you do not have any valid license for Visual Composer. What does it mean? It may be so that you got Visual Composer by purchasing WordPress theme which does not grant you with direct license for Visual Composer.
What do I do?Post count: 2749JegbagusApril 21, 2016 at 1:14 am #19796
as i said previously, you don’t need to do that. we already bought developer license so you free to use it.
i personally don’t like their approach to keep bugging our customer with their “need to buy” license while we already bought developer license for that.Post count: 49saupanApril 25, 2016 at 3:29 am #19901
Hi, I get your point. Nevertheless, in effect I am not able to use it because of license issue. Any work arounds?Post count: 2749JegbagusApril 25, 2016 at 6:56 am #19905
hi saupan, if you upgrade your wordpress to version 4.5, please also update the themes to version 1.6.
it has fix for issues with visual composer.
Thank youPost count: 16BlocCreativeJune 5, 2016 at 12:18 am #20558
The same thing happens for me. My theme was only downloaded today so is updated and I am running 4.5.2 of WordPress – but still get the same message asking to buy VB and license isn’t valid??
