WooCommerce Product Variation

    Hello –

I am trying to have my product images be variable, like a standard WooCommerce store, where when a user selects a different variation on a product, the product thumb would automatically change with that variation image. Am I doing something wrong or how do I make that a feature within the theme? I don’t want all of the images shown, only when that variation is selected – a standard WooCommerce system: http://artakiane.com.s188179.gridserver.com/product/a-i/.

    Thanks,
    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

Sorry for late reply. I’m not quite sure yet on this thing, so i just want to make more clear. Do you mean product variation is the print_size option?

    Thank you

Thank you for your reply Adek! Basically, the customer wants the out of the box WooCommerce variation view for the product detail page where a variable is selected and the image changes to reflect that selection. Take this WooCommerce theme for example: http://shopkeeper.getbowtied.com/shop/accessories/variable-product/. See when you select Black, Brown or White, the featured image changes based on the variable product data?

We have integrated all of the data with the print_size attribute and variations onto your theme but the image won’t change, it shows in a gallery format. I’m wondering if it is possible to have that same feature where a user selects a different variation and the featured image changes on this page: http://artakiane.com.s188179.gridserver.com/product/a-i/, depending on what they select on the dropdown.

How would we go about enabling this feature? I know it is an out-of-the-box feature of WooCommerce and I’m curious how to make it work with your theme. Thanks Adek!

    Hi Tyler,

Thanks for your info. I’ve been check your site before. But unfortunately we don’t have those kind of option at the moment so you will need to do some changes to achieve that. Anyway, if you interest you can use our Custom Service right here http://support.jegtheme.com/custom-change-service/ . Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you
