Website slowed down since last WordPress update

Since the last wordpress update last week, we’ve noticed that pur website is slower. The pages (masonry blog and gallery masonry style with side content) need more time to charge and display the pictures…
Also, gif featured images do not display anymore…
Maybe it’s not about that at all but it crosses with the auto wp update (do you advice to disable those kind of wp updates?)
Thanks for your time,

Of course, sorry for not being more precise form the beginning, it looks like it runs with the 4.5.2, the one release last week 🙂Post count: 40iuliaccMay 17, 2016 at 10:04 am #20306
Actually it’s WordPress 4.4.3 running on the site. Maybe it’s because of the ajax preloader? It’s taking really much time before displaying the pictures… And of course I’ve already disable it on the pages but it keeps appearing. I may try to delete directly the file.
Let me know,

thank you but I’ve already been checking this topic and as I told you, I’ve already tried to do so but the little loader effect is always here. I’ve tried to check on various browsers and no differences.
Could you please also let me know why I’m not able to display gif in featured images anymore?
