Hi guys, I don’t know why, but mp4 video background doesn’t work on tablet and smartphone. I have read in the forum that this is so, is that right?

If so, what do you recommend me? is there any way to replace the video for a picture, for example, when site is shown on tablet or smartphone?

Please, this is very important for my client.

    Thanks

    Hi alejandrorubio13,

Actually on mobile device the video will not show up by default and the fallback image background will appear instead.

    Thank you

I have the same issue. Video doesn’t work on tablet & smartphone. Solutions?

Also, video is 91,3 MB and it loads extremely slow. Is the videofile to big? Any solutions for that?

    Hi MorganMMG,

As i said on above previously, actually on mobile device the video will not show up by default and the fallback image background will appear instead. It seems you will need to decrease your video file, because it will affect the page speed of your site. Also if you put a video that have large file size, it will need to take more time to load your video properly on browser.

Let us know if you have further question on this thing.

    Thank you

Is there anyway to make the video show up on mobiles and tablets?

    Hi MorganMMG,

Unfortunately we don’t have any option to achieve that at the moment. We will take a look on this thing for further update. Thanks for you feedback.

    Kind Regards
