Hello, I have a problem with your theme on this blog – http://corinazorzor.ro/

The social links from the icons present on the blog and blog posts generate links that appear in webmaster tools like this:

    http://corinazorzor.ro/bluza-de-matase-trecuta-prin-trei-generatii/bluza-matase-1/www.facebook.com/CorinaZorzor1

I need all of the social links present on the blog & blog posts to have the rel=”nofollow” attribute. How can I do this? (except for the sidebar, i’ve solved that problem myself)

Also, there are the social links from the menu that need to have the rel=”nofollow” attribute so that they won’t be indexed by default by google’s crawl engines

    Hi,

You need to update theme’s file to achieve it.

    Please update the following files:
    For falive-themes/lib/jeg-functions.php update with this:

    For falive-themes/include/socialshare.php:

I highly recommend you to use child theme for any customization you made, so you won’t loose it when updating theme.
Please let me know if you have any problem.

    Thank you

hi sk8buc, child themes is come with themes bundle.
if you have no knowledge how to use child themes, you can just change it to your themes. but in next update, you will need to change it directly to the code again.

    Thank you

    Hello,

My problem didn’t disappear after doing the changes from above.

I’ve taken another at the links with inspect elements and I’ve saw that there are 4 more left (fb, twitter, google, lkdin) at the following div with the class:

    .author-socials

Can you help me give those links the rel=”nofollow” attribute?

    Hi,

It was different element than you mentioned before. For author socials link, you need to update file located at: falive-themes/include/authorbox.php

    Thank you
