How do I add a Slider to my homepage ( i want one similar to this http://www.patriciabright.co.uk ) and I also want to change colour of continue reading box from gold to black. I cant seem to find it. I also noticed that my drop down menu’s are not working. when I hover over nothing happens. How do I fix that?

    hi sophiamonago,

    1. its easy, you will just need to create a page, and assign homepage template, and you will have plenty option on those page that you can choose. and you can also build something like link you provide (it seems she also use our themes). for more information please take a look right here : http://support.jegtheme.com/documentation/falive-page-template/

    2. to change button color, you will need to go to appearance > customize > general option > Accent Color.

    3. your dropdown work fine on my side.

    4. i see that your header is working too.

Btw you have very beautiful website. im enjoying browse your website.

I figured out the drop downs and sticky menu. I think I just had to empty my cache. I fixed the colour. I dont understand what you mean by creating a homepage trmplate.

Hello, The slider on the HOMEPAGE works because in the general settings I used
    Your latest posts
    A static page
Front page: HOMPAGE (which allows the use of slider)
Posts page: When I select HOMEPAGE here too it says

Warning: these pages should not be the same!

I selected it regardless and it works, would there be a problem in he future?

    Hi @sophiamonago,

I’m not quite sure understand your questions. The homepage template actually used on A static Page option on Settings > Reading > Front page displays. For Posts page option its for archives/posts list, you might not select the homepage template for it.

    Thank you
