hi darwinitaly, its very great your website using our themes.
may i know where is the image attached? is it on featured image?
the themes will only show image from featured image.

like the one you see on this post : http://122.dionidream.com/?p=11236

if you are still using development server, you can try to use our one click demo to show how we create our demo.

    Thank you

It looks like your current theme is pulling the first attached image and using that as the featured image. However, the JMAGZ theme requires that a featured image be manually selected for each post.

To fix this, you could add some code to /lib/common-function.php

After the ‘if statement’ on line 112 erase the current ‘else clause’ and paste this:

In other words, lines 112 through 139 will look like this:

What this does is search for the first JPG image that’s attached to a post (if a featured image isn’t already manually selected) and uses that image as the featured image. If you need it to also look for other image types (i.e. png, gif, etc.), you’ll have to add the appropriate mime types.

hi darwintal it seems right what nbrown94 say, to include first attached image as front page, you will need to modify your child themes. please install jmagz child themes first, after than on functions.php please append below code.

we will also include this change in next version. so in next version, you will not need to use child themes to implement this code anymore.

    Thank you

Hey, thanks for that! I didn’t know you could use “image” as a mime type. That saves the hassle of declaring all the image mime types. Very cool!

Does this theme not have great service? Indeed it does! It’s upsetting to read some of the negative (and sometimes frantic) support request posts because this is really a great theme. If you have all the theme requirements on your server (and in some cases the knowledge to make slight adjustments to accommodate for previous themes’ unusual conventions), the theme is very solid. Well worth the money, and then some.

Um … I’d be back to my day-job with those numbers. I might even be considering suicide (if I didn’t have a family that depended on me).

HOWEVER, every industry is different. Those numbers could be yielding some great dollars, given the industry your in. So, keep working hard and building those numbers!

Yes thanx a lot ! it seems to be ok now ( http://2015.dionidream.com – still under development )

Can please tell me where we can change some word in english to italian ( the WP used is in italian ) but some words like “ago” in the time post/news… or “view more” in the list of posts, or inside the search field “Type and enter to search”…
we’d like to have it completely in Italian, because this site in only in italian.

    thanx in advance.
