Moving Theme Between Domains

Have just purchased and stared using this theme.
What is the situation when you want to move the theme from one domain to another.
I am installing the theme on a sub-domain on a live test server and when finished developing want to move it to another domain, so how will the licence validation work.

For regular license, you can use this theme only for one single project. It also mean that you permitted to install this theme on development server and then move it to production server, as long as it is ONE single project.

Is this possible or does the license look to see the domain name of when it was registered.

i ve got the same problem and i do not understand your answer.
Is it necessary to delete all the files on the developement server before i portate the wp installaion / theme files to the final server?
Currently jkreativ theme is installed (an registered) on my development server and i copyed all the content and files to the final server. To install the missing PlugIns (on the final WP) the system askes for the purchase code. I entered mine, but i have problems to change / save the additional css and import the settings in the “utility” section.
Must / can I “unregister” the development environment?

hi Thomas, no you don’t need to do that.
you can still use your development server and live or production server with only one license.
you will just need to buy another license if you going to use this themes again to any of your client work.

If not: What is the correct way to move the final developed template/ site?
Copy the wp-content/jkeartiv directory to the livesystem ?
oder install the theme and plugIns on the livesystem and then import the content?

I ve try it once again, but i cannot customize the theme. I don’t have a preview. and if i change some options and want save, i doesn’t work. all settings are like before. also importing the settings doesn’t work. The system shows the loading icon (3stripes) endlessly.

hi pixelpartner, we are not really sure what is the problem.
try to disable all plugin that not included with this themes.
if its still not working, you can try to contact us from our profile page at themeforest, and please create account so we can login into your admin panel and take a look what is problem.

I’ve disabled all PlugIns as you advised but the problem still exits.
– no preview
– no customazation changes saved
– edit pages makes a 500 error
– no import / saving additional css or settings via jkreativ utility

I do really hope, that you can find out what is the problem.

now I was able to fix this issue. The problem dues to an active apache module called „mod security“. I defined some rules / exceptions and now everythinks works fine.
