Extending footer to more than just landing pages

    I’ve created a footer that shows properly on landing pages created within the Jkreativ theme and would like to have the same footer show on all pages of the site I’m building. I’m at a bit of a loss how to do so as I see no option to incorporate it into non-landing pages. How might I go about showing the footer on other pages?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi gatorgvl,

    In Jkreativ footer with widget will only show on Landing Page & Portfolio Extended. Jkreativ has a lot of fullscreen page and we think it’s not fit if we add footer for that. But, we will consider to add option to include global footer.

    Thank you

    Please consider doing so. The ability to maintain a consistent footer throughout a webpage establishes a sense of refinement and professionalism.

    i now just added the following to the templates iam using to get the footer.
    paste this code at the end of your page php and dont forget to delete following part:<?php
    } else {
    jeg_get_template_part(‘template/password-form’);
    }

    get_footer();
    ?>

    just add the widgets as usual, theyยดll work.
    hope that helps some people too

    heres the footer php-snippet

    Hi Sore, I am a bit confused here.
    The code must be pasted on page.php or footer.php?

    Hi CDascalu,

    I pasted it on every template site i use by hand / manually. I really believe theres a better way. if it worked for you with the page.php let me know. I am really no expert but it worked for me so far.
    But please notice that i edited the code like you can see below!
    i mentioned some weird bugs with the old snippet so please use the code from under this post here.
    hope i could help

    Ok it seems that i can edit just ONCE.

    Hi Sore6,

    Thanks so much for your input.
    So the file that must be edited is page.php, right?

    Also, do I need to remove
    <?php
    } else {
    jeg_get_template_part(‘template/password-form’);
    }

    get_footer();
    ?>
    Or leave it as it is?

    hey there,

    i didnt tried it on page.php for now
    i made it more complicated i guess and searched for the template pages i used for my site…
    for example the template-portfolio-side.php i use a lot so i put the code right in there.

    and yes you have to rewrite the part youve mentioned
    remove it, and then use the snippet.
    when you look at the snippet its the last part anyway.
    so it just gets exteneded so to speak ๐Ÿ˜‰

    just let me know if it worked for you.

    cheers!

    is the footer turned on?
    http://jkreativ.jegtheme.com/documentation/#footer-landing

    because i used the landingpage footer item for it.

    and you need to put some widgets in the footer columns to make them visible.
    just add some crap so it gets content for testing

    theres a option saying: Enable footer for landing & portfolio <– turn that on and add some content in the widget menu of WP
