double click on a photo on a mobile device results in a black screen

There is a big problem when using the theme on a mobile device – a double click or a pinch to zoom-out performed on a photo on a mobile device results in a black screen. These actions should make a photo enlarge or, at least, nothing at all but in this theme the screen goes black and you need to go back with the page and go through the whole portfolio or blog gallery from the start. This makes people who are looking through the photos on a mobile give up. The theme is supposed to be great for wedding photographers so looking through photos on a mobile without problems should be priority – nowadays, most people are likely to look through your photos on mobiles. Please fix the bug and improve the theme’s mobile responsiveness.

Just take an iPhone, open a photo in portfolio gallery, zoom it then double click it and what you get is a black screen. It’s not only a problem on my website, it happens in every website portfolio based on your theme, for example the first in ‘Show your website’ thread: http://www.precioustimes.fr/photographe-mariage-douai
Please check it, because looking through portfolio on mobiles is important.

Please try to use Fotorama instead? We don’t think Fotorama have the same problem with IOS.

Using Fotorama on this theme is not the answer because of its cropping problem. Vertical photos seen on a horizontal screen are badly cropped – you can see only the middle part of them which makes it impossible to see vertical photos on a desktop or laptop computer.
Anyway, flexslider crops correctly but the bug makes it difficult to use on a mobile.
Also, the problem with double click and the black screen is not only on iOS devices but on Android based mobiles as well.
I bought this theme only for the responsive portfolio but its responsiveness is faulty and needs to be corrected.
