Is it possible to constrain the width of the entire site (header and content) by something like, say, 800px? Is custom CSS needed?

    Hi jkucik,

Yes it possible, you don’t need to use a custom CSS. you can find the option on Customizer > JNews : Layout, Color & Scheme > Layout & Background please enable boxed layout.

Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you

Thank you. However, we have already enabled boxed layout. It constrains the width of the site by 10% or so, but doesn’t give us control over the actual width of the site. It currently extends far beyond 800 pixels.

When we posed this question on themeforest’s jnews comment section, your customer support responded “We don’t have that kind of feature yet, but it can be done with a simple css change. We can help you with this need. You can contact us and we will provide you with custom code.”

Could you please provide us with that CSS code?

    Hi jkucik,

if you want the max width is 800 please try to use the CSS code below. before that, please enable boxed layout on Customizer > JNews : Layout, Color & Scheme > Layout & Background

But if you set the max width below than 1170px it will affect with all of the element.
Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you
