    Hi,

Whenever I change custom CSS on wordpress – it affects the theme perfectly well while I’m on admin.

But when I check my website on other browsers and pc – it has no effect whatsoever.

    Plese help!

    Hi Caroline,

This is most likely a cache issue. If you use cache plugin, such as WP Super Cache, please clear the cache or temporary disable it when you in development.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Could provide your site URL so we could check it?
Please also check file permission at wp-content/uploads it should be writeable to be able store the customized style.

    Thank you

hi caroline251193, the best way to test is to disable all cache plugin, also disable jnews speed plugin.
see if all of those plugin disabled, your website still having this issue.

    Thank you

hi caroline251193, its hard for us to tell you what is the issue when you are on cache.
it can be file permission issue, or other issue. so if you can, please disable all jnews speed plugin & another caching plugin like wp rocket or etc.

after you disable all those plugin, let us know. we will check your website for you.

    Thank you

I disabled it and the problem was fixed, and then I activated it again because I need it. And it was fine and after a couple of minutes, it had again the grey opacity on my home page. Isn’t it necessary to clear the cache every time?I don’t know what to do anymore with that issue

I also asked in another page about the low quality of the picture of the home page and they told me to put a CSS code because there is a layout on the page so I put the CSS code and it’s fixed! the pictures are in high quality and the background is totally white without the grey issue I asked you about. So if I’ll activate now the cache, will it stay like that?
