Code for Vimeo
Post count: 6fmecanMay 28, 2015 at 5:13 pm #11970
Where is the embed code for vimeo? In which file? From what I see, I will need to adjust, so the embedding works also on SSL pages if I make a video-posting.

The second issue is resolved, so there is only the vimeo part.Post count: 2751Post count: 6fmecanJune 9, 2015 at 9:37 am #12164
I know this is how it is supposed to work, but it only works on non-SSL sites. In our case (and I tested it), you put the URL with https into the Videoposting, BUT the Videoposting (not as a video in a regulat post) end up using this iframe:
<iframe src=”https://player.vimeo.com/video/118168189?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0″ width=”700″ height=”500″ webkitallowfullscreen=”” mozallowfullscreen=”” frameborder=”0″></iframe>
I then tested with firebug what happens if we can force the used iframe URL to be https and this would work, so this is why I am asking where to find the code change it.

hi feda, do you mean when you using ssl website, you unable to show vimeo video? can you give me URL where you having the problem.
Thank youPost count: 6fmecanJune 11, 2015 at 7:10 am #12194
Hi, exactly. If I create a “video-posting” with a vimeo video, it picks the non-SSL iframe, so the site is reporting that it would needed to load unsafe script etc. Customers won’t do that and they don’t understand what to do. If I could change the code, so wordpress forces Vimeo to use the SSL iframe, the issue should be solved. Then I also see a preview. Scroll down to https://playinglegal.com and you will the issue where the video block ist.Post count: 2751Post count: 6fmecanJune 13, 2015 at 11:59 am #12217

I have the same issue but for Youtube videos, I’ve tried changing the main.js code but that hasn’t seemed to work either. Any ideas?Post count: 2751JegbagusJuly 12, 2016 at 1:51 am #21152
hi admstevens, have you already update your themes to latest version? it should be fixed if you using latest version of themes.
