Cannot update Visual Composer directly from WP dashboard

Hi Dek Ery,
as of now I have made no updates since I have been busy on other tasks. However, I saw that you have updated the theme and just wanted to know if by updating the theme, VC and other stuff will be updated as well so the issues mentioned in this thread will be solved…
As a reminder, I am running WP 4 + Jkreativ 2.2.3 + Visual Composer 4.2.3

With the newest version we’ve include the update required plugin as well (just if the plugin have update). So you can get the update version of plugin on the package. When you updating the themes, you also need to updating the plugin version.

Hi again Dek Ery,
I have a question regarding the update.
I have just updated the theme to the latest version that is 2.2.4. I did it via the Envato plugin whit ease and no issues happened. Everything is ok.
However, it still says the following plugins have to be updated:
– Contact Form 7
– WPBakery Visual Composer
– WP Retina 2x
If I recall it right, in many ocassions in the past, it’s been said that by updating the theme the plugins would also do so if needed.
So, my question is: Do I have to manually update those plugins listed above?

To me the same thing is happening. I have updated the theme to release Version 2.2.6
– Fix accordion problem
– Visual composer update to version 4.3.5
But the composer is still at 4.3.4. And among the plugin is highlighted that is being upgraded.
P.S.: You are sure to have it included in the upgrade package? The files of the composer are still the old ones

Please try remove the old version of visual composer plugin (4.3.4) and then you need to install those plugin from Appearance > Install Plugins. Let me know if the problem still occurs.
