I dont understand what to do, because i’m not working in code, i’ve did everything with one-klick-installation of wordpress. Can you please explain or provide another option?

You could update it via FTP. Connect to your server using FTP program such as FileZilla, go to your wordpress installation directory: your-root-wp-installation/wp-content/themes/sukawati/js/ then edit the main.js with the update I gave above.

Otherwise you should wait for the theme update, we will submit the update this week.

    Thank you

All right, thank you. I prefer waiting until the end of the week for the update. (Too afraid to mess something up with FileZilla.)

Thanks, thats what i did. But i’ve lost all my theme-translations with the plugin Loco Translate. Do you know what i should do? Or should do next time in order not to loose the translations again?

    Hi ellengirod,

We’re sorry you got this experience. Theme update should not affect your site configuration, except you do customization (edit file). We also use Loco Translate and there is no problem with it.

It is always good to have/create backup before updating theme or wordpress version.

    Thank you

I have a backup and i am working with parent/child themes. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? At least in future, when another theme-update comes?

As long as you not update the translation string, theme update is safe and there is nothing to do with the translation. But if you have edited, you may need to “Sync” from Loco Translate after updating theme.

    Thank you
