Archive Page + Ajax Search Pro not showing results

I’m not sure where the issue lies, but here’s my problem. What I’m trying to do is create a custom search results page using Epic blocks, in combination with Ajax Search Pro plugin.

In Elementor I created an Archive template. I then proceeded to add the “EPIC – Archive block” module 3. When I perform a search with Ajax Search Pro and click on “More results” I do get my archive page and at the top of the page it says “SEARCH RESULTS FOR: XXX” but the posts listed are the most recent posts in chronological order, not the results from the search.

I don’t know where the root problem is. Any ideas?

To try it out for yourself you can go to: http://www.derekseaman.com
Then in the search bar on the right enter “UCS”, then click on More results. No UCS posts are listed, rather the most recent posts are listed. However, if I select from the category widget in the sidebar “UCS”, I do get UCS posts.

    Hi dseaman858,

I’ve been trying to replicate that issue on my side and i notice something wrong with the page url. When i click on the more result button the page redirects into this url https://www.derekseaman.com/https://www.derekseaman.studio/?s=UCS. You can check this image https://www.dropbox.com/s/2lwy5c7ibp580or/Screenshot%202018-12-03%2010.49.03.png?dl=0. Did you get the same result in there?

    Thank you

    Hi dseaman858,

I’ve been making a small change in there. It should work fine now. Please check it out.

Previously I modify this file epic-news-element/includes/helper.php then find epic_default_query_args function. I add this code below:

    Thank you

    Hi dseaman858,

I’ve been trying to access the staging site again but it seems i can’t access them. Do you disable the staging site?

    Thank you
