    Hi,
How can I fix the bug I found that the theme outputs as alt text

Basically it takes Website Title text then adds a tagline text and puts it all together in the logo’s alt text, ignoring Yoast or Media given settings.

Then since there are 2 logos(mobile and desktop) it repeats the same text twice. Looks pretty spammy and may be dangerous for SEO

    How can it be fixed?

    Hi dmitri1999,

Actually it isn’t a bug, but this is default option on these theme. It will take the site title and description for logo alt text .

    Thank you

Hello, it is really dangerous for SEO because creates duplicates!

I knew where to fix, but do not know how?

Side Navigation jkreativ-themes/template/navigation-side.php jump into line 26.
Top Navigation jkreativ-themes/template/navigation-top.php jump into line 47.
Mobile Navigation jkreativ-themes/template/responsiveheader.php jump into line 32.

    for example

    <div class=”logo” style=”padding-left: <?php echo get_theme_mod(‘jeg_top_nav_left_position’, 20); ?>px;”>

What exactly do I need to do to insert my own alt or remove the existing???

    Thanks!

    Hi VladimirBob,

You just need to find img html tag on those line code section. Then you need to find alt attribute and replace the content with your own need.

Let us know if you have further question.

    Thank you
